The term "Andromeda accident" can refer to several distinct incidents involving entities or concepts named "Andromeda." There isn't a single, universally recognized "Andromeda accident." Instead, the context usually dictates which event is being referenced.

One notable incident involved the Nave Andromeda, a Liberian-flagged crude oil tanker. On October 25, 2020, the vessel issued a distress call in the English Channel off the Isle of Wight due to the presence of seven stowaways who had boarded the ship in Lagos, Nigeria ¹⁹.
