🔥 Gündem Fire Breaks Out at Circuit Road HDB Flat, Resulting in Fatality

On July 28, 2026, a 70-year-old man died in an early morning fire at Block 39 Circuit Road ¹. Following the incident, the man's family reportedly declined to assist with identifying his body and arranging his funeral ¹.

While this specific fire incident is the most prominent recent event on Circuit Road according to available information, the term "short circuit" has also been used in reports from other locations. For instance, residents of Kesnand Road have complained about daily short circuits caused by faulty electrical wiring, leading to concerns among families ⁷. However, this latter report pertains to Kesnand Road, not Circuit Road.

Other mentions of "circuit" in the news refer to different contexts, such as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit blocking a $100,000 H-1B visa fee in September 2025 ³, or Maurice Hawkins extending his WSOP Circuit ring record ⁵. These are unrelated to incidents on a physical "Circuit Road."
