🔥 Gündem Ghost Soldier: Jim Caviezel's New Action Thriller

Ghost Soldier (also known as The Great Raid) is a 2005 war film directed by John Dahl, based on the true story of the Cabanatuan raid during World War II. The movie centers on a daring mission undertaken by the U.S. Army's 6th Ranger Battalion, led by Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci (played by Benjamin Bratt), to rescue over 500 American prisoners of war from a Japanese POW camp near Cabanatuan in the Philippines. These soldiers had survived the Bataan Death March and were enduring horrific conditions, starvation, and disease, with the Japanese high command reportedly planning to execute all remaining prisoners as Allied forces advanced. The film intricately weaves together the Rangers' perilous journey behind enemy lines, the desperate struggle for survival within the camp, and the efforts of a group of Filipino guerrillas and a nurse (played by Connie Nielsen) who aid the rescue mission. It's a gripping tale of courage, sacrifice, and the unwavering determination to save lives against overwhelming odds.
