🔥 Gündem GTA 6 Hack and Leak: Take-Two's Scorched Earth Policy

The development of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) has been significantly impacted by multiple large-scale leaks, revealing gameplay footage, map details, and other unconfirmed information long before its official release.

Initial Major Leak (September 2022)

The most prominent incident occurred in September 2022, when a hacker, later identified as a teenager, breached Rockstar Games' systems. This breach led to the release of 90 videos showcasing early development footage of GTA 6. The leaked material provided a first look at the game's setting, characters (including a female protagonist, Lucia, and a male protagonist, Jason), and core gameplay mechanics. Rockstar Games confirmed the authenticity of these leaks, expressing disappointment but stating that the incident would not delay the game's development ⁶.

Subsequent Leaks and CyberLeek (August 2026)

More recently, in August 2026, additional leaks emerged, revealing new gameplay elements and what was claimed to be the entire map of "Leonida" (the fictional state based on Florida) ². A hacking group calling themselves "CyberLeek" claimed responsibility for this breach ². These newer leaks reportedly included further gameplay footage and a world map, some of which have since been taken down due to copyright strikes ³. CyberLeek also attempted to embed their Solana meme token's contract address within the leaked images ⁸.

Revealed Information and Speculations

Based on the various leaks, several details about GTA 6 have come to light:

• Map Size and Scope: Early leaks from December 2023 suggested the map could be twice the size of Grand Theft Auto V's, potentially featuring three major cities and four sub-cities, with at least 70% of interiors being enterable ¹. The more recent August 2026 leaks also reportedly show five counties, a large rail network, and numerous islands, though the exact age and version of this map remain unclear ⁴.
• Gameplay Mechanics: Some leaked details resemble systems found in Red Dead Redemption 2, such as a possible honor-style mechanic ⁴. The footage has also shown improved chase sequences and character interactions ⁷.
• Setting: The game is widely believed to be set in the fictional state of Leonida, which is Rockstar's version of Florida, with Vice City (Miami) as a central location.

These leaks have generated significant discussion and speculation within the gaming community, offering an unauthorized glimpse into one of the most anticipated video games. Rockstar Games has consistently worked to remove leaked content from various platforms, emphasizing that the development process continues as planned ³.
