🔥 Gündem GTA 6 Leaker Triggers 'Doom Switch' - Rockstar Responds

The "doom switch," more commonly referred to as a "dead man's switch," in the context of the recent GTA 6 leaks, refers to an alleged mechanism or threat by the anonymous leaker known as CyberLeek ¹³. CyberLeek claimed to possess a "dead man's switch" that would automatically release a playable build of GTA 6 to the public if they were caught or apprehended by Rockstar Games or law enforcement ³. This threat aimed to deter any attempts to stop their leaking activities ¹.

However, reports from August 2026 indicate that the claim of a "dead man's switch" was retracted and proven to be false ⁵⁷⁸. Many fans and news outlets initially reported on the possibility of such a switch, but it appears to have been a fabrication amidst the flood of genuine and fake GTA 6 content ⁴⁵.

Rockstar Games has not officially commented on the "dead man's switch" claim itself ⁹. However, they have been actively pursuing the leaker and taking drastic measures to protect their game's development following the widespread leaks ²¹⁰. While the specific response to the "doom switch" threat is not detailed, Rockstar's overall approach has been to vigorously combat the leaks and protect their intellectual property ¹⁰.
