"I Got Your Back" is ILLIT's second Japanese single, released digitally on July 26, 2026 ². This track marks their first collaboration with the Japanese group HANA (B-RAVE) ². The song was released following ILLIT's busy 2026 promotional cycle ⁴.

The lyrics convey a message of unwavering support and companionship. Key themes include being there for someone through thick and thin, offering a listening ear, and encouraging them to be themselves without fear ¹⁶⁷. The song emphasizes the idea of standing "Side by side" and providing comfort when someone is feeling anxious or overwhelmed ¹⁷. It reassures the listener that they are loved and that the speaker will not let anyone "pick" the "flower we made bloom," symbolizing their shared accomplishments and bond ⁶. The lyrics also touch upon the exhaustion that can come from constantly worrying about others and the importance of finding happiness beyond nervousness ⁷.
