🔥 Gündem Jailer 2: Superstar Rajinikanth's Next Film - Release Date, Cast, and Latest Upd

"Jailer 2," the sequel to the successful 2023 film "Jailer" starring Rajinikanth, has been a topic of much discussion regarding its release and production. Rajinikanth himself announced in September 2025 that the film was slated for a June 12, 2026 release, though this date was not met ¹.

Recent updates indicate that "Jailer 2" is now expected to release on October 15, 2026 ⁴. Another report suggests an August 14 release, aiming to capitalize on the Independence Day holiday weekend ⁵. Production has seen Rajinikanth completing his portions for another film, "Coolie," by March 10, 2026, before moving on to work on "Jailer 2" ⁶.

The film has also faced some challenges, including the online leakage of clips in April 2026, prompting Sun Pictures to issue a statement about their anti-piracy efforts ¹. Additionally, a promotional song for "Jailer 2," titled "Ala Bolelo," sparked criticism in Kerala over the pronunciation of Malayalam lyrics, despite the song and Shamna Kasim's traditional look generating excitement among fans ².
