On April 28, 2023, Komoroski, while driving under the influence, crashed her vehicle into a golf cart carrying newlyweds Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson ¹. The collision occurred on Folly Beach, South Carolina. Samantha Miller, the bride, was killed at the scene, and her husband, Aric Hutchinson, sustained serious injuries ¹².
