Ravana Darpa Vinashaka Lingam,

• Meaning: I bow to that Sadasiva Lingam, which is worshipped by the best of sages and gods; which burnt Kamadeva (the god of desire) and is compassionate; and which destroyed the pride of Ravana.

Phanipati Veshtita Shobhita Lingam,

Daksha Suyajna Vinashaka Lingam,

Tat Pranamaami Sadasiva Lingam.**

• Meaning: I bow to that Sadasiva Lingam, which is adorned with gold and great jewels; which is encircled and beautified by the Lord of Serpents (Vasuki); and which destroyed the great sacrifice of Daksha.

**5. Kumkuma Chandana Lepita Lingam,

Pankaja Hara Sushobhita Lingam,

Sanchita Papa Vinashaka Lingam,

Tat Pranamaami Sadasiva Lingam.**

• Meaning: I bow to that Sadasiva Lingam, which is smeared with saffron and sandalwood paste; which is beautifully adorned with garlands of lotus flowers; and which destroys accumulated sins.

Bhavair Bhakti Bhirevacha Lingam,

Dinakara Koti Prabhakara Lingam,

• Meaning: I bow to that Sadasiva Lingam, which is worshipped by the preceptor of gods (Brihaspati) and the best of gods; which is always worshipped with flowers from the gardens of gods; and which is the Supreme, the Ultimate Soul.
