Key Changes in Indian Railways Ticket Reservation Rules

The most significant updates revolve around advance booking periods, Aadhaar authentication, and general reservation ticket booking.

Advance Reservation Period (ARP)

The advance booking window for train tickets has been adjusted:

• A maximum of six passengers can be booked on a single e-ticket for general quota ².
