🔥 Gündem Romeo Santos - Necio ft. Santana (Lyrics)

Romeo Santos' "Necio," featuring Santana, is a track from his acclaimed album Formula, Vol. 2. The song's lyrics express a deep, almost irrational obsession and infatuation with a loved one ¹⁴.

The chorus, a central part of the song, highlights this intense feeling:

"Sencillamente usted, amada mía, me pone necio

Es irracional este sentimiento que no detengo

Me va consumiendo

Sencillamente usted, amada mía, me vuelve necio

Mi amor alucinante se lanzó al océano por terco

Y me estoy hundiendo." ¹

This translates roughly to: "Simply you, my beloved, make me foolish/stubborn. This irrational feeling that I can't stop is consuming me. Simply you, my beloved, make me foolish/stubborn again. My amazing love stubbornly threw itself into the ocean, and I am drowning." ¹⁶

The song captures the overwhelming nature of love that can make one feel "necio" (foolish or stubborn) as they are consumed by their emotions ¹⁵.
