Yaga is an upcoming Crave Original series that reimagines the Slavic folk tale of Baba Yaga as a contemporary mystery thriller ³⁴. The series is based on a hit play by Kat Sandler, who also serves as the writer and showrunner for the television adaptation ³.

The story follows Rapp (played by Noah Reid), a private investigator who travels to a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park (Hudson Williams), the young heir to a powerful fishery ⁴⁵⁷. In his investigation, Rapp finds himself at odds with a local detective named Carson (Clark Backo) and a charismatic university professor ⁵⁷. The series promises a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects and ancient magic as Rapp delves deeper into the mystery ⁵.

Yaga is produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures in association with Bell Media, and it will be distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus ². The series is set to premiere in October ⁶.
