Ja'Lynn Polk is an American professional football wide receiver. He is currently a player for the New Orleans Saints ¹.

Early Life and College Career

Born on April 11, 2002 ⁷, Polk played college football at both Texas Tech and the University of Washington ⁷. During his time at Washington, he was recognized as a Freshman All-America Third Team selection by College Football News in 2022 ⁴. In 2023, he played in all 15 games for the Huskies and was their second-leading receiver ⁴.

NFL Career

Polk was selected by the New England Patriots in the second round (37th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft ²⁷. As a rookie in 2024, he appeared in 15 games, starting seven of them ². Despite a productive rookie year, he reportedly had a slow start to his career, leading his then-head coach Jerod Mayo to comment on his need to overcome a "mental hump" ³.
